How I Vibe Coded A New Income Stream In Just 48 Hours
Creators Need To Do This If They Want To Survive
I didn’t overthink it. I didn’t map out a funnel. I didn’t wait for perfect.
I just had an idea, locked in for the weekend, and built something.
By Monday, the tool was live.
By Wednesday, it made money.
Now it’s a new income stream—with zero ads, no launch plan, and no team.
I’m going to break down how I ‘vibe coded’ something new for my business in 48 hours, shipped it fast, and now have a new marketing channel I’m going to pump like mad this year.
If you want to create a new income stream for your business or personal brand, this tutorial is for you.
Let’s get to it.

Okay - What Exactly Did I Vibe Code?
I’ll spill the beans so you don’t have to wait for ages.
I built a tool called HustleBuddy.me by using a tool called Lovable.dev, one of the best AI website and app builders on the market right now.
It’s a simple website and directory where people can find side hustle ideas that match their geographic location, income goals, and skills.
I did this in a single weekend. So far, I’ve spent under $50 in AI usage credits and the domain name.
Here’s what Hustle Buddy has in terms of functionality so far:
Over 100 side hustles in the database
Side hustle ratings and data sourced from Trustpilot and Reddit threads
Email pop-ups and collection with my ConvertKit integration (this is working but needs some tweaks)
50+ monetized side hustles in the database through affiliate links
A working filtering system
A privacy policy and terms of use page
I’ve also built this tool with about 105 text prompts so far. There’s some quirks to fix, and I’m going to keep expanding the database to have at least 500+ hustles.
Here’s the amazing thing: this is true vibe coding.
With Lovable, you legitimately just chat about the kinds of changes you want. Lovable spends some time thinking, and then it executes.
So far, Lovable has had about a 90% strike rate in getting exactly what I want done.
It had some trouble integrating ConvertKit’s API and email pop-up forms. And like I said, there’s some quirks still.
But even when Lovable gets something wrong, if you tell it to try again, it simply analyzes its logs and looks for errors or a different way of approaching the problem. In 2-3 tires, you’re usually there.

You don’t need to know anything about coding or building websites either.
I’ll admit, knowing some of the jargon and things to look for helps. Like, it’s useful to tell Lovable “change the padding between those images” or “use an iframe for putting this YouTube video in".
But even if you just yell general instructions at Lovable, it gets the vibe of what you’re doing and BOOM, you’re now vibe coding!
💵 PS: Lovable has a free plan and gives you free credits every day, so you can use it without spending a penny. And if you want more credits / to build faster, its plans are insanely affordable. Again, I’ve built a working product in under $50 in spend in my first try.
How Much Money Did I Make? (So Far)
After I published Hustle Buddy, I added it to my YouTube channel description and a couple of videos.
I also shared the news in my new Skool Community and sent out an email blast to my newsletter of people interested in side hustles.
SO far, Hustle Buddy has made about $20. It also collected 2 email opt-ins.
This is a snapshot of one of my Impact affiliate accounts from the last few days. You see $350+ in income, but only $20 of this came from Hustle Buddy directly.
This isn’t anything crazy.
But this is a brand new tool. And I haven’t started real YouTube or email promotion or building out the new social media marketing elements I’m going to use on this project.
I consider this a massive win.
By the end of this year, Hustle Buddy will clear $1,000 - $2,000 monthly, and next year it’s going to be a massive stream if my master plan goes according to plan (rarely does, but it’ll land somewhere positively.)
But that’s my plan.
Here’s why building your own tools is more important than ever before.

Why Writers & Content Creators Need To Build To Survive
Here’s one takeaway every content creator needs to understand: information is now a commodity, so packaging is everything.
AI has made high-quality information more accessible than ever before. Plus, we’re seeing changes in search trends and how people look for information, and times change fast.
I mean, I made $1M+ in my twenties with SEO-driven affiliate marketing creating content targeting long-tail keywords. This strategy barely works now.
What does work is packaging information so your audience sees the value and believes that they can’t get that value anywhere else.
This is my goal with Hustle Buddy.
Anyone can ChatGPT a list of side hustles. Or, they can check out my YouTube channel, blog, or the others like it for a list of ideas.
But these are tired forms of packaging. People have seen them a million times before.
A data-driven database that’s more personalized? This is at least a fresher marketing angle/hook that I can throw into my existing funnels. Other people have done it, but I haven’t for my audience before. Maybe it catches, maybe it doesn’t, but it’s something new for my audience.
With info-driven businesses in the modern era, how you package information is the new offer itself because information is now a commodity.
This could look like:
Vibe-coding new apps, websites, or tools that help your audience
Creating eBooks
Running webinars
Building browser extensions (this one has crazy potential, some very cool companies in the browser extension space)
Creating helpful chatbots
You get the idea.
Next Steps - Think About Your Niche & Use Cases
If you make money by selling information, chances are, most of your content tries to help someone address a specific problem.
So, instead of plugging someone else’s product or solution to a problem, try vibe-coding your own.
You can do this if you’re a fitness coach, write about productivity, talk about finance, or cover any kind of niche really.
Maybe you can build that fitness app, or that budget tracker, or a new tool on your existing website that’s something you haven’t done before.
Ultimately, if you find a new way to repackage your info business, this gives you more marketing hooks to use. Some will fall flat, but some might help increase the longevity of your business in the age of AI.

My Plans For Hustle Buddy
Like I said, Hustle Buddy has some quirks.
My next step is to get the email collection / opt-in working perfectly and to add another hundred or so side hustles to increase the value of the database.
From there, there’s all kinds of options. I can improve filtering, create an account creation system, let people submit side hustles, whatever.
This is the beauty of vibe-coding new stuff for your business. The wheels begin turning, and you think of new ways to serve your audience more value while making money.
If your business has some tired marketing hooks right now, I definitely encourage you to try out Lovable and vibe coding.
Even if you don’t make anything useful, trust me, this gets your brain thinking on different and bigger tracks about your business. That alone is worth a couple days of some fun tinkering.
Thanks for reading, I’ll catch you in the next one.

I love lovable and i've built a few apps. Some simple and some complex. I've also built an iOS app with Cursor. Marketing is the main issue. Getting it out into the world and getting people to pay for it. Thats the true difficulty.
Thanks for this. The 💡went off.
